CRUSADERS CONTINUE HOME DOMINANCE WITH 3-0 SHUTOUT

Tigerville, S.C.—The North Greenville Volleyball team continued it’s domination of opponents in Hayes Gymnasium tonight with a 3-0 shutout of Livingstone College.


The Lady Crusaders left no doubt as to who the better team was tonight. After a convincing 25-12 win in the first set and a 25-13 win in the second set, North Greenville finished off their second win in three matches with a 25-16 third set

Leaders for NGU were Abigail Frame who led the squad with 33 assists and Anjelica Wilcox who accounted for 10 kills. Rebekah Mayes led the team with eight digs.


The win over the Lady Blue Bears is NGU’s 15th win in the record setting 2010 season and the eighth win at home. The Lady Crusaders improved to 15-12 on the season and 8-1 in Hayes Gymnasium.


The Lady Crusaders will travel to Columbia, South Carolina on Monday for a match against Benedict College. Wednesday night October 20th will be a home match against Newberry College. The October 20th match is also “Dig Pink” night supporting breast cancer awareness month.
