After a long Homecoming day for the NGU volleyball team, The King College Tornado brought no relief as they overpowered the girls in 3 straight sets (9-25, 14-25, 21-25).
The girls never could get anything going offensively as they were held out of rhythm for most the match and forced to play from behind throughout. Leading the defense was Kaitlyn Harris who tallied 13 digs, and Kayla O’Kelley who had 4 blocks for the Crusaders.
In the end, King College had too much firepower for the Crusaders and wore them down early in each set. The girls will be away from Hayes Gymnasium for the rest of the week.
