North Greenville had an impressive showing at the Gamecock Opener in Columbia, South Carolina. The Crusaders posted four top 20 finishes including a top 5 performance and also achieved multiple career personal bests.

Emily Barbosa was part of a three way tie for third place in the Pole Vault. She posted a height of 2.85 meters.

Collia Rowe put together a 12th place finish in the 400 Meter Dash with a time of 56.63 seconds. She was also the top Crusader in the 200 Meter Dash, finishing 35th overall with a time of 25.75 seconds.

Briley Arnold also posted a 12th place finish, competing in 800 Meters with a program record time of 2:24.39. She also took home a 27th place finish in the 60 Meter Hurdles, recording a time of 9.64 seconds.

Hope Whisman finished 13th in 5000 Meters, posting a time of 19:41.42, her indoor personal best.

Jadyn Slaughter set a career personal best with a 30th place finish in 3000 Meters with a time of 11:25.01. Paige Trent and Cori Small also competed the event. Trent set a career personal best, placing 35th with a time of 11:40.81. Small was not far behind in 37th position with a time of 11:57.66.

Shelley Martin set two career personal bests. She took 38th position in 800 Meters, recording a time of 2:35.72. Margaret Nork finished right behind Martin in 39th spot with a time of 2:35.86. Martin also competed in the Mile Run, placing 34th with a time of 5:51.24.

Emily Beisecker competed in two events, placing 55th in the 200 Meter Dash with a time of 26.29 seconds and a career best 56th in the 60 Meter Dash with a time of 8.21 seconds.

Jada Wilson also ran in the 60 Meter Dash, finishing 87th with a time of 8.71 seconds. 

Malaery Ward placed 88th in the 60 Meter Dash with a time of 8.73 seconds. She also participated in the 200 Meter Dash, placing 111th with a time of 28.52 seconds.

The Crusaders will head to the Buccaneer Invitational in Johnson City, Tennessee on Friday, January 31st.
