Crusaders Start Season Off Strong at Clemson Open

North Greenville's 2019-20 Women's Track and Field season is officially underway with a solid showing at the Clemson Open in Clemson, South Carolina. Five NGU student-athletes participated in four total events at the meet.

Emily Beisecker opened up her season by competing in the 200 Meter Dash, placing 2nd in her section with a time of 26.05 seconds.

Margaret Nork made her collegiate debut in the 600 Meter Event. She placed 4th in Section 3 and recorded a time of 1:48.73. Emily Barbosa also competed in the event, placing 4th in Section 4 with a time of 1:51.53.

Taylor Harris competed in the High Jump event, clearing height of 1.47 and 1.52 meters for 6th place in the event.

Briley Arnold recorded a time of 9.55 seconds in the Prelimiaries of the 60 Meter Hurdles. Her time placed her 5th in Heat 2.

Up next for North Greenville is the UAB Vulcan Invite on Saturday, January 11th in Birmingham, North Carolina.
