Crusaders Achieve Solid Day at Gamecock Invitational

The North Greenville Crusaders achieved a historic day at the Gamecock Invitational in Columbia, South Carolina. NGU recorded a number of personal bests as well as top 10 finishes.


Mary Abbott placed 3rd in the 3K Meter Steeplechase with a time of 12:59.49.

Shekinah Wilder put up a 3rd place finish in the Triple Jump, posting a height of 12.06m.

Millie Klefsaas tied for 6th place in Pole Vault, recording a height of 3.45m.

Briley Arnold posted a top ten finish in the 400 Meter Hurdles. She finished 10th out of 29 participants with a time of 1:05.24. Emily Beisecker also participated, placing 18th with a time of 1:07.27.

The team of Collia Rowe, Lilli Haines, Briley Arnold, and Emily Beisecker competed in the 4x400 Meter Relay, finishing 11th with a time of 4:00.02.

Collia Rowe put together an 18th place finish out of 61 participants in the 400 Meter Dash, recording a time of 56.55 seconds.

Madisun Shore was the top Crusader in the 800 Meter Run, posting a time of 2:25.82 and placing 27th out of 58 participants. Emily Barbosa achieved a season personal best in the event with a time of 2:38.24.

Hope Whisman placed 13th with a time of 19:35.17 in the 5K event. Jadyn Slaughter was also in the event, and achieved a season personal best time of 20:27.97.


North Greenville will head to the Conference Carolinas Outdoor Championships on Friday, April 26th in Central, South Carolina.
