Charlotte, N.C. – Millie Klefsaas wrapped up the 2018 Track & Field season last week with her first showing at the NCAA National Championships.

They Dynamic freshman failed to clear a height at the D-II championships but capped the season as the school’s record holder in the pole vault and the first vault athlete to make an appearance on the national championship stage for North Greenville University.

Klefsaas swept the 2018 Conference Carolinas Championship events as a freshman, earning the top height in both the indoor and outdoor events. In addition to winning the league championships, the Montana native set a Conference Carolinas record with a height of 12 – 8.75 which was also a school record.

The first year athlete didn’t stop there as she also set school records in the 60 and 100 - meter hurdles. As for her performances in the pole vault, she finished the year as the top vaulter in the Southeast region and the third-ranked freshman in the entire nation.
