Crusaders Continue To Set Records

Clemson, SC – The North Greenville women’s track and field team was back in action over the weekend competing in the Tiger Paw Invitational at Clemson University.


Jackia Whetstone personal best in the 200 meter dash with a time of 30.99.

Three Crusaders set schools record in the meet with Kayla Steinert setting the school record in the 400 meter dash with a time of 1:12.94, Corinne Schmidt set the school record in the 500 meter dash with a time of 1:33.20 and Kelly Knutson set the school record in the one mile run with a time of 5:56.29.

The North Greenville 4x400 team of Steinert, Schmidt, Nastassia Sanford and Shiobhan Fraser had a strong first meet with a school record time of 4:34.94.

The Crusades will be in action again on March 3 at the PowerSox Invitational in Hickory, NC.
