Women's Track And Field Continues To Improve

Clemson, SC – The North Greenville University women’s track and field team continued its steady improvement at the Clemson Invitational over the weekend.


In the one mile run, Kelly Knutson set a personal best finishing the race in 5:59.99 and bringing home an 18th place finish.


Kaitlyn Pierce brought home a sixth place finish in the high jump after clearing 4’11”, while Nastassia Sanford finished in 11th place in the long jump with a jump of 16’11 1/4”.


“We have a great group of young ladies and I’m very proud of all of them,” said head coach Michael Bayne.


The Crusaders will return to Clemson, SC on Feb. 10-11 to compete in the Tiger Paw Invitational.
