Misenheimer, N.C. – North Greenville women’s tennis scored a second league win on Saturday with a 6-3 win over Pfeiffer University.
The Crusaders escaped doubles with a 2-1 lead after a pair of 8-0 wins over Pfeiffer with the teams of Camille Duhan/Fernanda de Lucca and Graysen Elms/Faith Moyers doing the damage. Christina Kiessling and Kylie Sandusky dropped an 8-0 decision in the one position.
North Greenville would go on to win four of the six singles spots to earn the victory. Fernanda de Lucca earned a 6-1/6-2 victory in the three spot while Kylie Sandusky and Graysen Elms earned wins of 6-3/6-2 and 6-0/6-0.
Faith Moyers rounded out the day with a 6-0/1-0 victory in the six spot. The wins for the Falcons in singles competition came in the first and second spots with 6-2/6-1 and 6-3/6-2 wins over Christina Kiessling and Camille Duhan.
North Greenville improved to 9-9 on the season and 8-3 in league play. The Crusaders will take on Lander University on April 4th at 2pm in Greenwood, South Carolina.
