Bristol, TN—North Greenville women’s tennis bounced back from a tough loss on Wednesday to blank King University 9-0 in Conference Carolinas action.
The Crusaders set the tone with a sweep in doubles using a pair of 8-6 wins and the help of a king default to take a 3-0 lead. Christina Kiessling and Kylie Sandusky were responsible one of the doubles victories while Camille Duhan and Fernanda de Lucca earned the second victory of the day.
North Greenville continued its impressive performance in the singles portion of Friday’s match. Christina Kiessling and Fernanda de Lucca earned wins of 7-6/6-2 and 6-1/6-4 while Kylie Sandusky and Graysen Elms also won with an 8-7 victory and a 6-0/6-0 win.
Camille Duhan won 8-2 in a single set match while Faith Moyers was credited for a win after second player default by King.
North Greenville improved to 6-9 on the season and 5-3 in Conference Carolinas play. The Crusaders will travel to Banner Elk on Saturday to take on Lees-McRae College at 12pm.
