North Greenville Drops Non-Conference Match to Young Harris

Tigerville, S.C. -North Greenville women's tennis dropped a non-conference match to Young Harris, 9-0 on Wednesday afternoon at Vance Tennis Center.

In Doubles: Camille Duhan and Christina Kiessling fell to Elin Rundcrantz and Maria Puerta 8-2, Maria Vargas and Fernanda de Lucca lost 8-4 to Oriana Labaqui, and Laura Sanchez, while Kylie Sandusky and Kelley Chapman dropped an 8-3 decision to Carolina Hernandez and Kadie Hudgins.

In Singles: Camille Duhan was defeated 6-2/6-1 by Elin Rundcrantz, Maria Vargas lost 6-4/6-4 to Oriana Labaqui, Carolina Hernandez defeated Christina Kiessling 6-3/4-6/11-9, Kylie Sandusky lost her singles tilt 6-4/6-4 to Laura Sanchez, Fernanda de Lucca fell 6-1/6-1 to Maria Puerta, and Hartley Smith dropped a 6-1/6-1 decision to Diana DiMarco.

The Crusaders will be back in action on March 17th against Brevard College. NGU will open league play a day later on March 18th against Lees-McRae. Both matches will be held at Vance Tennis Center in Tigerville.
