WOMEN'S TENNIS FALLS 7-2 TO LEAGUE CHAMPION LIMESTONE

Tigerville, S.C.—The NGU Women's Tennis Team dropped its final Conference Carolinas match of the season on Saturday, falling to league champion Limestone College 7-2.

The Crusaders pulled just one win in both the doubles and singles matches. Camille Duhan and Christina Kiessling earned the 8-5 win in doubles play, as the Crusaders trailed 2-1 heading into singles.

Aline Ribeiro gave the Crusaders their only win in singles play with a 0-6/6-4/10-6 win over her Limestone counterpart. The Crusaders fell to 9-12 overall and 7-4 in Conference Carolinas play after Saturday's loss. The Crusaders will head to the league tournament next week after posting its best league record since joining the conference in 2011.
