Tigerville, SC - The North Greenville University women's tennis team lost 8-1 against the number one team in the Carolinas Conference from last year. Though they came short of a victory, the sets and games were close, competitive, and challenging.
Erskine women's tennis team took the first three points from all the doubles matches, and continued to dominate throughout the singles matches.
NGU's number four player, Camille Duhan, battled it out and won her singles match 7-5, 6-2.
Maria Vargas, NGU's number 1 women's player, almost pulled through with a win but came short during a super tie-break and lost 10-5.
A win did not happen for the women's tennis team today, but they are preparing to win their next match against Emmanuel College at the Vance Tennis Complex on Saturday, March 7th, at 12:00pm.
