BRISTOL, Tenn. – Cassie Curtis improved to 5-2 on the season in singles competition leadning NGU to a 9-0 win over King College and the Crusaders first Conference Carolinas win of the 2012 season.

The Crusaders improved to 3-4 over all and 1-2 in conference with the win over the Tornado. The Crusaders swept through the singles matches, Thursday. Haley Hardwick continued her solid play and improved to 3-2 on the season and Susane Lenz won her 3rd match in a row bringing her solo record to 3-2.

In doubles, Rebecca Beacham and Victoria Gomez won their consecutive match and improved their team record to 3-2 on the season. The tandem of Cassie Curtis and Aline Ribeiro also improve to 3-2 on the season as a team.

The Crusaders will take a couple weeks off before returning to the court for a showdown with Lee-McRae on March 20th in Banner Elk, North Carolina.
