Women's tennis battled it out on the court Tuesday afternoon against King College and did not disappoint. The ladies won their first and third set of doubles and four sets of singles. Erni Salem (Switzerland) started the singles out with a win and was followed by Katherine Shaw (Lilburn, GA) who won the second set of singles. Cassie Curtis (Florence, SC) and Natalie Stewart (Anderson, SC) went on to win the fourth and sixth set of singles, which brought the ladies their victory. "It was a very satisfying win.", stated Head Coach Mark Elliot. "Their team is just as good as ours and anytime you win matches against those teams that are at the same level, it's a good win." Just like the men's team, the ladies played very close sets the whole afternoon. The next match will take place at home on Wednesday against Roberts Wesleyan University at 2p.m.
