Murfreesboro, N.C. – Women’s soccer dropped its Saturday match to Chowan College in a 1-0 decision, making it three losses in a row for the Crusaders.

The lone goal of the game came in the first half when the Hawks scored in the 26th minute of the game. Caroline Lucci did the damage for Chowan who was held scoreless for the remainder of the day.

Bri Rowe collected six saves during the effort a game-high for both teams. The Hawks finished with eight shots in the first half and 14 for the entire match. Seven of those were on goal. North Greenville got off 15-shots on the day including four on frame but was unable to find the empty net.

Five different players were credited with two shots while four players had shots on goal. Alyssa Mendez led the bunch with two shots including one on goal while playing 78-minutes.
