Tigerville, S.C. – North Greenville women’s soccer added new pieces to the puzzle this recruiting class, adding 14 new faces to the North Greenville program.
The Crusaders looked to build on a record breaking 2017 season which saw the program’s first Conference Carolinas playoff win and the first ever trip to the league’s final four. Coach Andy Robinson and his staff look to fill the holes left by the departure of five seniors.
Alyssa Mendez, Ayden Boatwright, Camryn Pagliaro, Emma Shearer, Joelle Chick, Kayla Cruise, Mackenzie Neff, Megan Biehl, Natalie Johnson, Sarah Hazelwood, Shelby Shepherd, Taylor Harvey, Victoria Valentine, and Zoe Jenkins all committed to play for North Greenville University.
"We as a staff are very excited about this incoming freshman class, it is one of the most talented group of players we have been able to recruit since starting at NGU 5 years ago," said head coach Andy Robinson. "This group of recruits has just as much achievements off the field as they do on and this is very important to the culture we have started building here at NGU. I am excited to see the impact they are going to make on the field but also the footprint they are going to leave on the surrounding area. We are looking forward to getting them on campus and see how well they make the jump or transition to the college level."
