Crusaders look to end regular season in fourth place

The NGU Women’s Soccer team have proven themselves this 2017 season. Sitting in fourth place in Conference Carolinas, NGU is on their way to a home playoff game in the first round of the conference tournament.  This will be the first time the team has been able to host the first round of competition.

An exciting season it has been; bringing in a class of twelve freshmen and returning thirteen players.  The first victory against Southern Wesleyan University fueled a fire under the girls for the rest of the season.  The win against Barton College, pushed The Crusaders up in front of the Bulldogs.

The graduating class of five seniors have been a major asset throughout the season.  Tori Owens, Alex Pagliaro, Brittany Waldrep, Lauren Prevett, and Madelynn Schober will be honored during their last home, conference game on Saturday, the 28th of October, against the Converse Valkries.  Kickoff is at 7pm, with the senior festivities beginning at 6:30pm.
