WOMEN'S SOCCER PROVES DETERMINATION IN TUNE-UP WITH FURMAN

Box Score (NGU vs. Furman)

In preparation for the 2015 season, your NGU Women's soccer team took on the Furman Paladins the past Friday night at Stone Stadium in their last preseason scrimmage.

This was the first time these two schools have faced each other on the pitch in women's soccer history. The Crusaders showed great tenacity through out the game and played their hearts out against the Division I Paladins. Unfortunately, Furman was able to net two goals against your Crusaders in the 35th minute and 39th minute and held on, despite a couple good opportunities for NGU, for a 2-0 win.

The Crusaders are looking forward to opening the season this Thursday night at home in Pepsi Stadium at 5:00pm against the visiting Brevard Tornados. Come out and support your Crusaders in the first game of their 2015 campaign.
