Crusaders Earn Victory Over In-State Rival
Central, SC - The Crusaders defense held strong and managed to pick up their second win of the season beating Southern Wesleyan University 1-0.
The Crusaders got the crucial goal from Franki Jumper in the 40th minute on an assist from Lindsay Tuten.
The defense led by freshman keeper Madelynn Schober and sophomore Karis Hoover helped the Crusaders pick up their first shutout of the season. Schober recoreded five saves in the victory.
The final game of the season for North Greenville (2-12-1, 2-7-1 Conference Carolinas) will take place on Saturday, Nov. 1 when the Crusaders take on Converse College in Spartanburg, SC at 6 p.m.
