Bobcats Down Crusaders In Final Home Game
Tigerville, SC – It was a game of heartbreak for the Crusaders as they fell to the Bobcats of Lees-McRae 2-1.

The Crusaders took the lead in the 73rd minute as Lindsay Tuten ran on to a through ball from defender Erin McLure.  The lead would only last for three minutes as Erin Barcal would level the score on an assist from Meagan Thornton.

Thornton would give the Bobcats the lead in the 84th minute, when Sarah Mahar played her in behind the Crusaders back line.

Madelynn Schober had a strong game in goal with nine saves as the Crusaders were outshot 18-4.

The Crusaders (1-12-1, 1-7-1 Conference Carolinas) will travel to Southern Wesleyan University on Saturday, Oct. 25 at 3 p.m. in Central, SC.
