Crusaders Shutout By Falcons
Tigerville, SC – It’s been a trying year for the Crusaders as they fell to the Falcons of Pfeiffer University 2-0 on Saturday.

The Crusaders defense would stand tall in the first half as goalkeeper Madelynn Schober would close the gate on the Falcons attack recording seven saves.

The second half would be different story however, as Aaliyah Jackson would get the Falcons on the scoreboard in the 53rd minute.  Tori Jackson would give the falcons a two goal advantage in the 73rd minute on an assist from Katlyn Stevens.

The Crusaders would be outshot 18-3 on the day as Schober’s 10 saves on the day would keep NGU in the game.

The Crusaders (0-10-1, 0-5-1 Conference Carolinas) will travel to Belmont Abbey College on Tuesday, Oct. 14 at 1 p.m. in Belmont, NC.
