Crusaders Lost Non-Conference Tilt With Queens
Tigerville, SC – The Crusaders fell to the Royals of Queens University 3-0 in a hotly contested game in Pepsi Stadium.

The Crusaders fell behind just four minutes in as Queen’s number fifteen Caitlyn Rodrigues would slot home from eight yards out.

Rodrigues would be a part of the second goal as she would setup Katie Causey as Causey would let fly with her left foot from 18 yards out.

Queen’s third goal would come in the last five minutes as number 38 Julianna Tucker would score as her shot deflected off an NGU defender and trickle in.

NGU would not be without chances as midfielders Kathryn Allen and Frankie Jumper would both see their breakaways turned away by Queen’s goalkeeper.

Goalkeeper Katie Tate would once again have a strong game with 12 saves.

The Cusaders (0-7-1, 0-2-1 Conference Carolinas) will travel to King University on Saturday, Oct. 4 at noon in Bristol, TN.
