Women's Soccer To Host ”Pink Game”
Tigerville, SC – On Monday, Oct. 21, the North Greenville University women’s soccer team will host Flagler College in a “Pink Game” to promote and support Breast Cancer Awareness.
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, which is an annual campaign to increase awareness of the disease. While most people are aware of breast cancer, many forget to take the steps to have a plan to detect the disease in its early stages and encourage others to do the same. We have made a lot of progress but still have a long way to go and need your help.
The team will be wearing custom pink jerseys and other pink attire while also playing the entire game with pink game balls. Fans are encouraged to wear pink and show their support for Breast Cancer Awareness.
The game between North Greenville and Flagler College is set to begin at 4 p.m. in Pepsi Stadium.
