Tigerville, S.C.—Head Women’s soccer coach Jesse McCormick has officially announced his 2011 recruiting class. All ten of the signees have officially signed a National Letter of Intent, and will enroll at North Greenville University in the fall of 2011.
Beth Arnold, a defender from Woodruff, S. C. was a four year starter and two year captain from Woodruff High School. She has been an All-Region player, All-State player, four year scholar athlete, and four year perfect attendance athlete. She was a member of the 2008 Upper-state Championship team and 4 year region 2 AA championship team. She also played soccer for USA and CESA Spartanburg.
In school, Beth participated in National Honor Society, National Art Honor Society, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and Future Teachers of America. She is a member of Woodruff Church of God where she is a student leader in ACTS student ministry. She is also a leader of ACTS student drama ministry. Beth is the daughter of Leslie and Kay Arnold.
Noelle Beasley, a forward from Fuquay-Varina, NC, earned six varsity letters in soccer at Cary Christian School. She was named a NCISAA All Conference Player 2009 & 2010 and a first team all-state and first team all-region player in 2010. Her Cary Christian School team won the NCISAA 2A State Championship in 2008 while reaching the 2A State Finals 2007 – 2010. She played for the Capital Area Soccer League (CASL) 92 Elite club team from 2006 – 2009 winning the 2008 and 2009 USYS North Carolina Championships. She participated in the Red Bull Girls National League from 2007 – 2009 and the USYSA Region III Premier League from 2006 – 2010. In 2010 she played with the Triangle United Soccer Association (TUSA) 92 Gold team coached by Cindy Parlow. She enjoys reading, physical fitness, traveling, and working with children. Noelle is the daughter of Eric and Heather Beasley.
Brooke Domingo is a versatile player from Goose Creek, SC. During her High school soccer career at Stratford, she earned All-County honors as a sophomore and Junior and was named to the Brookland-Cayce All Tournament Team. She plays club soccer for SC United Mt. Pleasant, and was a member of the 2010 SC Olympic Development team. She obtained the NSCAA Advanced Regional Coaching Diploma in 2009 and in her spare time volunteers as a coach for a local U10 girl’s soccer team.
While maintaining a high academic standard with a 4.3 GPA she is also a member of the Beta Club, National Honor Society, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and Knight Pride. Brooke also competes in three different sports at her school and has earned Varsity Letters for the volleyball, basketball, and soccer teams. She is also a volunteer at Trident Hospital where she was awarded the Optimist International Junior Volunteer of the Year Award in 2009. She has earned the distinction of being named a Wendy’s High School Heisman Winner in 2010. Brooke is the daughter of Alejandro and Christina Domingo.
Noelle Gould is an attacking player from Rockford, Illinois who has played various positions. She has been playing for Shadow Premier FC, and has been captain for them two years in a row, as well as captain of her high school team. Noelle is a starting player for both club and high school teams. She received 1st Team All-Conference and Honorable Mention All-Sectional her junior year at Rockford Christian. She was leading assists and third top goal scorer for her high school team. She helped take her high school team to the Regional Championship two years in a row winning it in 2009 to advance to Sectionals. In addition to her ability on the field, Noelle is an all honors student and is involved in the music program at Rockford Christian. Noelle is the daughter of Jim and Melinda Gould.
Franki Jumper, a midfielder/forward from Swansea, SC, earned four varsity letters, was a four year starter and a 2 year captain at Swansea High School. She has been named as team MVP, Offensive Player of the Year, and as 2008 Times and Democrat Female Player of the Year. She was her high schools’ leading scorer for two years, all State Nominee and selected for the All Region Team for 3 years, while being chosen as Bearcat Invitational All Area Tournament Player in 2008. She played for Sandhills United Soccer Club team that was 2009 CASA Tournament Champions.
Franki is actively involved with high school clubs; Tigers “Paws” for Cause, a community club, in which she is the president, and is a member of Student Council and BETA club. She has a grade point average of 4.37. Franki is an active member of her church youth group where she has been a part of a Christian camp, Community Changers, helping coach soccer camps for younger children, and participating in activities for and with Senior Citizens in the community. She plans to major in Early Childhood. Franki is the daughter of Frankie and Jane Jumper, and has one brother, Darryl.
Taylor Kelley is a goal keeper from Irmo, South Carolina. Taylor's outstanding performance both on and off the field have earned her three varsity letters and an extended studies diploma with honors. She was Co-Capitan of her club team, South Carolina United FC ELITE 93, where they ended their season 9-0-3. Her passion for excellence and commitment to her team is evident by her character. She is an active member of Riverland Hills Baptist Church where she currently leads a weekly Middle School Girls Bible study and has participated in over 6 different mission trips. She is excited to be a part of NGU's team and looks forward to the plans God has for them. Taylor is the daughter of Sam and Bobbie Kelley.
Laney McGarity is a defender from Westminster Catawba Christian School in Rock Hill, SC. She has been playing soccer since the age of 5 and joined the Charlotte Soccer Club at the age of 11. Laney is a multi-sport athlete who has lettered in volleyball and cross country in addition to lettering 3 times in varsity soccer. In 2010 her varsity soccer team made it to the state semi-final game and finished second in the MAC conference. Laney is an honor roll student who has been involved in art, math, and beta clubs. She has won a variety of citizenship and character awards and attends North Rock Hill Church youth group. Laney is the daughter of Ben and Nicole McGarity.
Erin McLure is a center back from Bonaire, Georgia. She has played soccer since she was six with Central Georgia Soccer Association and Macon Soccer Club where she was captain of the Macon United team. She helped her team win the First Coast Labor Day Shootout and the Norcross Nike Cup in 2008. In 2010 as a member of the Westfield high school soccer team, she was selected to the GISA Region 3AAA All Region Team. She lettered in five different sports last year at the Westfield School including: soccer, cross country, basketball, tennis, and track with state playoff appearances in all five sports.
Erin is ranked second in her senior class and achieved the All A's Academic Achievement Award her freshman through junior year, and received the AP Scholar Award in 2010 for her high scores on the AP exams. She has also served as a Beta Club representative and Vice President along with being a representative for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Erin is involved in the Emmanuel Church youth group, and has participated in a number of mission trips including trips to Puerto Rico, Costa Rica, Florida, and Mississippi. Erin is the daughter of Gary and Judy McLure.
Danielle Simmons is a Forward/Midfield from Conyers, GA. She is a four year starter earning four varsity letters and selected as team captain in 2011 at Eagles Landing Christian Academy. Danielle was selected to the 2009-2010 All Area Soccer Team. In 2009 & 2010 Danielle made the winning PK’s for her team to advance to the Championship. Danielle has participated in several tournaments and Georgia State Cups in Columbus. She also participated in the People to People Sports Ambassador Program in Sydney, Australia. She played for Atlanta Silverbacks Youth PDP, (South Atlantic Division) 2007 -2009. In 2009 & 2010 Danielle played club soccer for the Atlanta Spurs (Athena A) coached by Ted MacDougall who played professionally in England. In 2009 & 2010 Danielle was nominated to attend the National Leadership Forum on Medicine. Danielle enjoys reading, traveling, playing soccer and giving back to the community. Danielle is the daughter of William and Rita Simmons.
Danielle Smith is a defender from Jacksonville, NC. She played with the Onslow Classic Soccer Association and has been a member of the White Oak High School varsity team since her freshman year. While at White Oak, her team was named the North Carolina 3A State Champion in 2008 and 2009 as well as a regional finalist in 2010. In 2008 she competed in the Wide World of Sports 6 on 6 soccer tournament in Florida where her team finished first.
Danielle has been an active member in FCA since her freshman year, National Honor Society since her junior year, and an active member in her youth group at Kellum Baptist Church since 2005. She plans to major in Health & Wellness and minor in Missions, after recently committing to becoming a missionary this summer in Tennessee at Student Life youth camp in July. Danielle is the daughter of Daniel and Pamela Smith.
