Tigerville, S.C.—
 Saturday was a day full of sports at North Greenville with two volleyball matches, a football game and a men’s and women’s soccer game.

Both the volleyball team and football team came up short leaving it up to the Lady Crusaders soccer team to register the first win of the day. The Crusaders (8-4) would rise to the challenge beating the Chowan Hawks (5-10) 2-0 in the 90 minute contest.
 The Crusaders opened the scoring early when Junior Rebecca Stidham (2)  scored in the 3rd minute of the game with an assist from Lauren Norris (2). Junior Leah Ward (10) would add the second and final goal of the game in the 25th minute with an assist from Sophomore Ashlyn Henderson (3).  Freshman goal keeper Caitlin Fountain registered 3 saves in the second period to preserve the win for the Crusaders. "I think it was key that we came out strong in the first 5 or 10 minutes of the" said head coach Jesse McCormick. The Crusaders next game will be October 22 against Toccoa Falls in Toccoa Falls, Georgia. The kickoff is set for 6pm.
