Still sporting the best record on campus, the North Greenville women’s soccer team took to the field for the 2 time in less than a week to take on the Crusaders of Tennessee Temple.

Battling rain and mild temperatures, the Crusaders of North Greenville University would come out on top 9-0.
North Greenville’s Ashlyn Henderson started the scoring for the Crusaders in the 8th minute scoring her first of two goals, the second coming in the 46th minute of the game. Hayley Williams scored two goals for North Greenville in the 12th and 20th minutes of the game. Williams also had an assist. Other goal scorers for the Crusaders were Beth Morgan (19th minute), Kayla Bales (19th minute), Catherine Neely (25th minute), Rebeccah Stidham (46th minute).
North Greenville’s Lauren Norris scored for the Crusaders in the 60th minute. The goal was the first of her career. She also had an assist on the Catherine Neely goal in the 25th minute of the game. “It was nice to bounce back after losing to Lander” said head coach Jesse McCormick “the entire team played great, I’m extremely happy for Lauren for getting her first goal.”
The Lady Crusaders next game will be on the road at Truett McConnell in Cleveland, Georgia on October 2nd at 4pm.
