NGU WOMEN'S SOCCER CLINCHES ICAA NATIONAL CROWN

The North Greenville University women’s soccer team, now 9-4 on the season, has clinched the Independent Collegiate Athletic Association’s (ICAA) national title it was announced by the national office in Billings, Montana.

The Crusaders outdistanced Urbana College of Ohio to win NGU’s first national championship.  NGU has road games remaining at Tennessee Temple and Emmanuel (GA) before heading into the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) national playoffs.

First year head coach Jesse McCormick’s team set an all-time best NGU record for wins this season and should be one of the top seeds from the South Region for a post-season berth.
