NGU places two on All-ICAA Second Team; Duff tabbed Freshman of the Year

TIGERVILLE, SC- North Greenville University forward Danielle Duff was named Freshman of the Year by the Independents Collegiate Athletic Association. Duff and senior Whitney Doublestein were both named to the All-ICAA second team. Duff scored nine goals and recorded seven assists during the 2006 season.

The ICAA is composed of North Greenville, Palm Beach Atlantic, Tiffin, Columbia Union, Brevard, Flagler, and Dixie State.

Palm Beach Atlantic and Tiffin had a total of 12 players selected to the All-ICAA team. The ICAA soccer is composed of North Greenville, Palm Beach Atlantic, Tiffin, Columbia Union, Brevard, Flagler and Dixie State.

Rudy Brownell of Tiffin was named Coach of the Year for taking the Dragons to a 17-4-2 season and a spot in the NAIA National Championships. Rachel Garofalo of Tiffin was a unanimous choice as Player of the Year. She scored 19 goals with seven assists for 45 points. She was the ICAA Player of the Year last season.
