Sophomore Year: Led team and set a school record in caused turnovers with 58 and ground balls, collecting 69. Second in scoring with 30 goals. Named Team Defensive Player of the Year, one of the first NGU Lacrosse Athletes to be named Second Team All-Conference for the Conference Carolinas. Also was named a NCAA Statistical Champion for Division II, for leading the nation in most caused turnovers per game.

Freshman Year: Saw action in all twelve games, second on team for draw controls with 19 and second on team with groundballs, collecting 22.

High School: Colwell garnished multiple awards in high school, a two time First Team All-State Defender, a four time All Region Selection, and a four time First Team All Upper State selection. In 2013, Colwell was named a Second Team All-State Midfielder, Under Armour All American, Best Midfielder for the Riverside Warriors, selected to the FCA Under 17 National Team, and for the second year, named the South Carolina Sports Report All State. In 2014, Colwell was named First Team All-State as a midfielder and the Riverside Warriors Most Valuable Player.
