Tigerville, S.C. – Brianna Temples has added a familiar face to her coaching staff this season with the addition of former player and NGU graduate Emily Colson it was announced this week by the fourth year head coach as a student assistant.
Colson graduated from North Greenville this past spring and was a four-year starter for the Crusaders in her time in Tigerville. Colson was a team captain in her senior season with the Crusaders and was also named Academic All-Conference by the Conference Carolinas during her junior and senior years as a player.
In her four years at North Greenville, Colson played in 65 – total games and scored 82 – goals on the attack. She compiled 97 – points as a Crusader and even helped out on defense, causing 54 – turnovers while also collecting 121 – grounders.
"We are excited to add Emily to the women’s lacrosse coaching staff at NGU," said head coach Brianna Temples. "Emily is one of the pioneers of the program and as a player, helped mold this program into what we have become. She is an excellent addition to our coaching staff and I am looking forward to seeing her help shape us as a team."
