High Point, N.C. – Monica Colwell and Rachel Kellogg were honored as second team All-Conference performers by Conference Carolinas coaches on Friday afternoon.
Colwell was one of NGU’s best defenders this season, playing in all 19-games for the Crusaders. In the first 18-conests, Colwell notched 30-caused turnovers and picked up 43 groundballs. She also brought fire power to the offensive end of the field, scoring 16-goals and dishing out four assists. She finished the season with 20-points on the offensive side of the field.
Kellogg was a welcome boost to the North Greenville offense this season, finishing with 36-goals which was third on the team. Kellogg also delivered seven assists. On defense, the Orlando native caused 10-turnovers and had 35-grounders to go with them. Kellogg finished the season with 43 total points.
North Greenville finished the 2017 season on Saturday with a record of 10-9.
