CRUSADERS DROP FINAL HOME GAME TO VALKYRIES

Tigerville, S.C. - The North Greenville Crusaders women's lacrosse team lost their final home game against the Converse College Valkyries 12-5.

The Crusaders jumped out on top first with a goal by Samantha Poppleton. This being a woman down goal as North Greenville was charged with an early yellow card. The Valkyries offense would then go on a 12-0 run. The shot advantage for Converse in the first half would be 18-7. The Crusaders goalie Lowri Gowing would have six saves in the first half. The Crusaders would try to start a late rally in the second half going on a 4-0 run to end the game. Nikki Colwell would have three goals in the run while sister Monica Colwell would have the other goal. Converse would take this game 12-5.

Your Crusaders (2-9) will next play Brevard in their final game on April 21. This game is scheduled for 4:30 P.M. in Brevard, North Carolina.
