WOMEN' LACROSSE DOWNED BY BOBCATS

Tigerville, S.C.—The North Greenville Women's Lacrosse team remained winless in Conference Carolinas play after an 18-4 loss to Lees-McRae on Saturday afternoon in Tigerville.

Lees McRae jumped ahead 2-0 early in the first half, but a goal from Natalie Dufresne five minutes in would cut the Bobcat lead to 2-1. The Bobcats then scored 10 unanswered goals to take a 12-2 lead on NGU. North Greenville would score once more in the half as Nikki Colwell scored her 20th goal of the season to cut the Bobcat lead 11 at halftime.

NGU would come up with two more scores in the second period as Olive Berley gave NGU its third of the game while Colwell's second of the day scored North Greenville's fourth. LMC finished the day with six goals in the second period en route to the double-digit league win.

The Crusaders fall to 2-8 on the season over all and 0-7 in league play. The Crusaders will take on UNC Asheville on April 11th in a double-header starting at 4pm.
