WOMEN'S LACROSSE STILL SEARCHING FOR FIRST WIN

Due West, S.C.- The North Greenville Crusaders came up short on their first chance of winning a Conference Carolina's game against the Erskine College Flying Fleet 13-10.

Erskine took out on an early offensive attack taking an early 2-0 lead over North Greenville. With 27:08 left in the first half freshman Natalie Dufresne would score the Crusaders first goal making the score 2-1. North Greenville would keep up the offensive attack on Erskine as Nikki Colwell would score a goal bringing the score even at two. The Flying Fleet would take the lead once again at 3-2 before the Crusaders offense would wake up going on a 4-0 run taking a 6-3 advantage to end the half taking the lead into the locker room.

The Flying Fleet would once again start out early on the offensive attack going on a 3-0 run of their own, before the Crusaders would post their first goal of the half at 23:21 by freshman Emily Colson giving back the lead at 7-6. The Crusaders would add another goal making the lead 8-6 before Erskine would come back with a 6-0 run taking their lead at 12-8. North Greenville would attempt to come back, but the bid would fall short as Erskine would take this game 13-10.

The impact player for the North Greenville Crusaders for this game would be Nikki Colwell posting 3 goals, 1 assist, and 4 draw controls. The Next game for the Crusaders will be a week from today on Wednesday, February 18 at Brevard College. The game is scheduled to begin at 4:30 P.M.
