Tigerville, S.C.- In the first ever women's lacrosse game at North Greenville University the Crusaders came up short losing to Point University Skyhawks 6-8.

The Crusaders came out attacking in the first half as they would take 11 shots opposed to 8 of the Skyhawks. The game would remain close throughout the first half as neither team had more than a single goal advantage. The sister duo of Monica and Nikki Colwell would connect giving North Greenville the first goal ever of the program. Monica would score the goal on an assist from her older sister Nikki. It would look as if Point would take a 3-2 lead going into the half until 1:47 left when Monica Colwell would score her second goal of the half tying the game 3-3.

The second half would be much like the first as neither team really gained an advantage. The Crusaders would take advantage of the ground balls in this half 12-7. The Skyhawks would out shoot the crusaders 10-7 in the second half. The scoring for North Greenville would switch from Monica to Nikki as Nikki Colwell would score two goals in the second half completing a hat trick for the game as she scored a goal in the first half.
