NGU wrapped up their tournament at the Jekyll Island Intercollegiate with a total of 648 strokes (+72), which tied for twelfth place out of sixteen teams. Of the four Conference Carolinas programs participating in the tournament, NGU's position was the second best out of the four schools.
Parker Stalvey tied for the top Crusader in the event. After starting off with a round one score of 79 (+7), she shot just one stroke above her first round with a score of 80 (+8), giving her a total of 159 strokes (+15) to tie for 35th individually.
Jordon Kirkley tied Stalvey with a total of 159 strokes (+15) to also tie for 35th. She had an impressive round one score of 78 (+6) before posting a round two score of 81 (+9).
Elena Denny was also strong in her first round, posting a score of 79 (+7). With a score of 82 (+10) in round two, she wrapped up her tournament with a total of 161 strokes (+17).
Telie McCoy tied for 71st overall with a round one score of 84 (+12) and a round two score of 86 (+14) for a total of 170 strokes (+26).
Miriam Sundell also tied for 71st overall with a total of 170 strokes (+26). She had a consistent tournament, shooting 85 (+13) in both rounds.
The Crusaders will return to action in 2020 to take place in the Spring Kickoff on Monday, February 10th in St. Augustine, Florida.
