NGU women's golf placed 10th in the Jakyll-O-Lantern intercollegiate tournament in Jekyll Island, Georgia. The Crusaders shot 320 (+32) in their opening round and 323 (+35) in the second round for a total of 643 (+67). Savannah Hallman was the top finishing Crusader. She tied for 9th place individually.
Savannah Hallman finished her first round with 76 strokes (+4). She improved in her second round with 75 strokes (+3) for a total of 151 strokes (+7), which tied for 9th place.
Allison Avery had a tough first round, taking 84 strokes (+12), but rebounded in the second round with a score of 78 (+6) for a total of 162 strokes (+18). Her score tied for 42nd place.
Ashlynn Mullis shot 79 (+7) in her first round, but a tough second round of 87 (+15) gave her a total of 166 strokes (+22). Her score tied for 56th place.
Megan Miller finished round one with 86 strokes (+14) and round two with 83 strokes (+11) for a total of 169 strokes (+25). That score tied for 63rd place.
Miriam Sundell tied Miller for 63rd place. Sundell shot 81 (+9) in round one and 88 (+16) in round two for a total of 169 strokes (+25).
The Crusaders will take a few months off before returning in February for the Spring Kickoff Intercollegiate in St. Augustine, Florida.
