Snow Hill – North Greenville women’s golf finished the first round of the Conference Carolinas Championships in fourth place on Sunday, just 14- strokes off of the leader with two rounds left to play.

How it Happened

  • Savannah Hallman positioned herself to make a run at the individual championship as she finished the first round in second place. Hallman carded a first round 75 and is five strokes behind the individual leader.
  • Ashlyn Mullis is currently tied for eighth place after Sunday, carding a 78, finishing second on the team.
  • Allison Avery finished the day in a tie for 25th with an individual score of 81 while Miriam Sundell shot an 83 and finished in 32nd.
  • Morgan Reece rounded out NGU’s scores with a first round total of 87, finishing her in 41st heading into round two.
