Snow Hill, N.C. – North Greenville women’s golf wrapped up the 2017 season on Tuesday afternoon with a 12th place finish at the Conference Carolinas Championship.
King University finished the tournament in first place with a 606 team total. Limestone finished three strokes behind the Tornado with a 609 and a second place finish while Mount Olive finished third with a 616. Converse and Belmont abbey rounded out the top five.
Morgan Reece finished in the top spot for North Greenville in 32nd. Reece shot a team low 164 after two rounds, shooting a 79 and an 85 in rounds one and two. Ashlynn Mullis finished second on the team, breaking the tape in 37th place. Mullis shot an 87 in the first round but improved six strokes in round two, carding an 81 for a tournament total 168.
Sarah Dutton shot a pair of 85’s on Sunday and Tuesday for a total of 170 and a 42nd place finish while Miriam Sundell clocked in, in the 50th spot with a 91 and a 92 for a total of 183. Megan Miller finished two spots behind Sundell in 52nd, shooting a 98 after round one, but improving seven strokes in round one to card a 91 and a total of 189.
