North Greenville finishes seventh at Dancing Rabbit Invite

Philadelphia, MS—North Greenville women's golf wrapped up play at the Dancing Rabbit Invitational Tuesday afternoon with a 7th place finish.

The Crusaders were paced by Meghan Heald whose 21st place finish earned the top team spot. Heald shot a 77 and an 80 on day one and wrapped up the tournament with an 84. Her three-round total of 241 is her best finish of the year.

Morgan Reece started the tournament off with an 87 but improved in her second round as she shot an 82. Reece ended the week with an 83, earning her a finish of 32nd. Ashlynn Mullis pulled in NGU's last top 40 finish as she finished in 37th. Mullis shot an 88 and a 90 in rounds one and two but wrapped up the tournament with an improved 85.

Sarah Dutton followed up a round one 99 with a 90 and 97 while Madison Monteith shot a 104, a 102, and a 107. Montevallo earned the tournament title while Lee University, West Alabama, Shorter, and West Georgia rounded out the top five.

The Crusaders will be back in action on March 28th as they host the Cherokee Valley Women's Invitational at the Cherokee Valley Golf Club in Tigerville.
