Panama City Beach, FL – This week , both the men’s and women’s golf teams from North Greenville competed in the National Christian Collegiate Athletic Association National Championships.
After three days of competition, the men’s golf team finished in 5th place overall out of 18 teams with a team score of 294-296-303 (893), just 30 shots back of team champion Lee University. North Greenville senior Josh ONeal led all Crusaders in the tournament with a three-day total of 75-71-72 (218) to finish in a tie for 9th, seven shots back of the individual champion, while junior Tucker MacDonald shot a tournament total of 72-74-75 (221) to record a 20th place finish in the individual standings.
For the women, North Greenville shot a three-round team total of 325-312-315 (952) to finish 7th overall out of nine teams in competition, while Lee University also won the women's title with a team score of 301-295-301 (897). Sophomore Ashley Carrell led all Crusaders with a total of 74-77-74 (225) to finish tied for 4th overall, while junior AnnaLeis Dibert shot 75-78-77 (230) to finish tied for 9th in the individual standings after three rounds of play.
