Crusaders Struggle In First Match Of Spring

Columbus, GA – The North Greenville University women’s golf team began the spring portion of its schedule this week competing in the Lady Cougar Collegiate Classic on Monday and Tuesday.

As a team, the Crusaders shot a two-day total of 373-356-729, 100 strokes behind match champion UNC Pembroke.

In the individual standings, Anna Padgett was the top finishing Crusader with a score of 92-85-177 tying for 45th place.

Denise Shirley (90-88) and Anni Dibert (91-87) shot identical totals of 178 to tie for 50th place, while Regan Ouzts (100-96-196) and Paige Donaldson (102-104-206) rounded out the individual scores for North Greenville.

The Crusaders will hit the links again on March 17-18 in Carrolton, GA as they compete in the University of West Georgia Women’s Invitational.
