Womens golf finish day one in 13th place

Myrtle Beach, S.C. – The North Greenville women’s golf team currently sits in 13th place after round one of the Lenoir-Rhyne/Myrtle Beach Intercollegiate.

Of the 17 teams in competition, the Lady Crusaders shot a combined team score of 354. North Greenville is 48 shots behind first place Tarleton State.

Denise Shirley shot a first round 86 to lead the Lady Crusaders and finish day one tied for 42nd in the individual standings. Taylor Threat shot a 88 to tie for 49th and Regan Ouzts is close behind tied for 51 with  a first round 89. Shelby Swatzell, tied for 61st, and Anna Padgett, tied for 77th, shot 91 and 98 respectively.

The tournament will conclude with round two tomorrow.
