Wingate, N.C. – North Greenville women’s cross country ended its season on Saturday with a 15th place finish at the NCAA Southeast Regional.
Hope Whisman led the Crusaders and finished 53rd individually with a time of 23:58.7 in her last cross country race as a Crusader. The next best finisher for North Greenville was Grace Valentine who scored a finish of 73rd, finishing with a time of 24:34. Whisman and Valentine were two of the best qualifiers for North Greenville among runners from other Conference Carolinas schools.
Cori Bridges was next in line for North Greenville with a time of 25:24 while Paige Trent clocked in at 25:37. Jadyn Slaughter finished in 26:23 followed by Katherine Cruz who finished in a time of 27:12.7. Madeline Merrell rounded out the NGU qualifiers as she stopped the clock with a time of 27:29.1
