NGU Places 39th in Live in Lou Cross Country Classic

North Greenville took home a 39th place finish out of 62 teams in the Live in Lou Cross Country Classic in Louisville, Kentucky. A total of 533 student-athletes participated in the event. 

Hope Whisman was once again the top Crusader to place in the event, taking 74th place individually with a season personal best time of 19:28.2. It was her 2nd fastest collegiate 5K event.

Mary Abbott placed 183rd overall with a season personal best time of 20:14.3, her 2nd fastest collegiate 5K event as well.

Grace Valentine also posted a season personal best time of 20:18.1, which was good for 191st overall. It was also her 2nd fastest collegiate 5K event.

Paige Trent continues to put together a strong freshman campaign, finishing her fastest collegiate 5K event with a 312th place finish and a season personal best time of 21:14.3.

Shelley Martin finished with a time of 21:48.5, her 2nd fastest collegiate 5K time. She placed 365th overall.

Cori Small put together a season personal best time of 21:23.0.

Jadyn Slaughter wrapped up North Greenville participants with a 381st place finish and a time of 21:56.8.

The Crusaders will return to action on Friday, October 11th to take place in the Royals Cross Country Challenge in Charlotte, North Carolina.
