WOMEN'S CROSS COUNTRY TURNS IN FOURTH PLACE FINISH AT LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIPS

Concord, N.C. - The North Greenville Women's Cross Country Team notched a fourth place finish at the Conference Carolinas Championships on Friday night, matching the best finish for the squad since joining the league in 2011.

The Crusaders finished fourth during the 2013 season as well. Kaleigh Roach continued her solid freshman year Friday night as she paced the NGU women with a 12th place finish. Roach earned the Crusaders 12 points while clocking in at 20:39.

Victoria Davies credited NGU with its only other top 25 finish as she crossed the finish line in 22nd place. Davis finished the race with a time of 21:31. Amanda Ward and Rebecca Watson earned top 30 finishes in the 28th and 29th positions, while Hailey Willingham earned a 33rd place finish.

Haley Hardwick turned in a top 50 finish as she crossed in 22:55 to take the 41st spot while Namely Valenciano was the 43rd runner to cross with a time of 23:09. London Miller capped the top 50 finishers with a time of 23:36.
