Tigerville, S.C. – North Greenville’s Karen Donehew earned First Team All-Conference while Cameron Carter earned a Third-Team nod it was announced by the league on Thursday afternoon.
All-Conference winners are nominated and voted on by league coaches. The awards are handed out at an award ceremony before the semi-final rounds of the Conference Carolinas Tournament.
Karen Donehew led North Greenville’s offense this season, scoring 547-points, an average of 18.9 points per contest. Her average points per game ranked her second in the league and top-30 in all of NCAA Division II women’s basketball. Donehew was also top-10 in the conference in rebounding, finishing the season with a team-high 209-boards. She also led the team in assists with 82-dishes and was second on the team in steals with 33. Donehew also had a team-high in three-pointers with 56 on the season.
Cameron Carter ended her career at North Greenville with a 287-points on the season and a 13, points per game average. Carter had 35-assists on the season and was second on the team with 36 three-pointers. Carter was also second in the league in three-point percentage, knocking down 39-percent of her deep shots.
