WOMEN'S BASKETBALL INKS CLASS OF 2016 GUARD IN EARLY SIGNING PERIOD

Tigerville, S.C. - North Greenville women's basketball welcomed a new member to the class of 2016 as Karen Donehew signed a letter of intent last Wednesday to play basketball for Jayne Arledge and the Crusader.

Donehew is a 5'10 guard from South Doyle High School in Knoxville, Tennessee. She was an All-Region and an IMAC All-District Team selection as a junior, scoring 18.7 points per game while collecting 8.1 rebounds. She also helped on the defensive end of the floor with 1.9 steals per contest.

"We are very excited to be officially adding Karen to our Program," remarked head coach Jayne Arledge. She's a player that works extremely hard each day on and off the court. Karen is the type of player that we need to be able to compete for conference championships and make the NCAA Tournament. We are expecting her to make a great impact early in her career and will fit right in with our young core."
