High Point, N.C.—Juniors Alisha Hope and TImisty Nelson have earned a spot on the Conference Carolinas All-Conference third team as announced by the league on Tuesday evening.
Hope and Nelson were the undisputed leaders of the North Greenville offensive attack during the 2013-2014 season, accounting for almost 41% of the teams scoring during the season. The pair was also one and two in rebounding, as Nelson collected 170 boards while Hope corralled 160.
Timisty Nelson ranked tops in the conference in two categories as she ranked fifth in the in league in both points per game with 14.6, and in field goal percentage shooting 49.4%. Nelson scored 393 points on the season, leading the Crusaders while also posting 41 steals and 16 blocks.
Also ranking in the top of the league in points per game was Alisha Hope whose 14.1 points per contest ranked her two behind Nelson in seventh. Hope finished the season with 367 total points, on 41% shooting from the field. On defense she accounted for 39 steals, while also hitting 13 three pointers.
